An Act to prohibiting age discrimination within the public schools of the Commonwealth

By Representatives Kelcourse of Amesbury and Kilcoyne of Northborough, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 1706) of James M. Kelcourse, Meghan Kilcoyne and others relative to prohibiting age discrimination in public schools. The Judiciary.

SECTION 1.   Section 5 of Chapter 67 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following sentence:-

“No person admitted to a public school of any town shall be discriminated against in obtaining the advantages, privileges and courses of study of such public school on account of age.”
